I WAS LOOKING AT CALVIN SOON'S CD WHEN...

I found this folder hidden within folder within folder within folder... and it goes on. Lol. I had to break the directory into a few parts cuz it's too long to be posted by itself, in case it screws up my template (:

Sec3 squad got so many matters meh. Lol.

And yesterday's yesterday there was sec1 orientation. Yesterday had some photo-sharing-cum-waste-time session for the aus trip.

Sec1 orientation went quite well bah. At least 91 sec1s were scammed into writing down their names to indicate their interest. Lol =O Later some sec1 come my blog and read how. Ahh too bad then. It didnt screw up. Lucky for you, elson. But tancw did screw us for some other matters like attire. Okay nvm about that, but the event went quite well as a whole.

Lucky we got back 3d classroom thanks to jasper and the council people. If not, the two stations will be damn far apart and it will not make any sense.

And they were playing with the 疑点 thing by placing a twenty cents coin among the badges. Some just take damn long to realise what is wrong with that plate. Lol. You know the programme on Jackie Wu's show where they find what's unusual or wrong within an area.

Drill was okay. Sec2s came, rifle drill, though maybe it wasn't really very good. Campcraft was not bad. We had a tent, a flagpole, a campcraft structure and a swing. No bad lah. Better than last time ladder. Lol. Presentation was pretty good. Sidney scamming tactics, jiahan and charlton did well too.

So no probs lor. Cadet advisor did alot of work okay, now i have no qualms about including that title into my np portfolio next time. Lol.

SINCE NOBODY IS ONLINE NOW OR RATHER I CAN'T GET ONLINE,

I shall just blog since blogger is (surprisingly) still working. Though I thought it was based in US or something and the internet to US is supposed to be congested. Lol. Nvm. Let's hope this post gets through.

The most intriguing person to talk to abt NP matters is still calvin soon. Hahah, havent talked to him for really quite a while since he passed out, went south africa and the CIBTC. 'I'm a P/CI eh' Hahah. I guess all those that went through that course are kinda brainwashed for quite a while before recovering like all camps and courses.

Is it me or is it them? Lol, the type of working style of many in NP just doesn't suit me. Last minute rushing is not my style. Start early, but still hiong to the last mintue is. Guess calvin soon was right that i was kinda disappointed that elson didn't put in the extra effort though he already has koped my open house proposal in whole -.- Is it that no effort was put in or just the difference in working style? Nvm. I just hope the sec 1 orientation isn't screwed, though I'm not in-charge of it exactly. I'm 'cadet advisor' on the list eh. Advise my foot, lah. Lol.

Hmm, so what happened yesterday huh.

Went to school for some NP matters like banner painting though I didn't help much, I just lingered around to see what I can erm, help? Uhhh. Banner painting for orientation.

Trying to get a combo of dark red via mixing peach red and black?! But jonquek says black owns all colours and it did. Lol. And elson, felix, jiahan.

Later went to vivo to fetch lydia from work and went to watch the HCI band concert at Singapore Conference Hall, home to the S'pore Chinese Orch apparently.

The first part was kinda screwed up, cuz even I can feel that the music wasn't really good -.- Lol. Though I'm a person that catch no balls for music. I thought my $10 was wasted -.- But second part by college was much better. Hah, and as usual loads of extra entertainment by band like blowing bubbles, standing up in formation and the (poor) emcee forced to sing like a kid.

FOR A 50CENT MAC CONE

WAHH I cant believe I'm staying awake till now for a 50c mac cone treat. Thankyou you ah, lihui. Zzzzz. But I have my own stuff to do, so I guess it was kinda okayy lah.

Okay so saturday we had UTP outing. Wasn't really an outing for me because I never left my house -.- They came over to my place.

Awaken by alicia's phone call at 1020 to ask what bus comes to sengkang. Zzz, sleepy so I got back to sleep. Awaken by another phonecall from joseph at 1040 saying he's reaching sengkang. So I woke up and bathed and all those stuff before picking them downstairs. Spent $10 on drinks and chocs that they never really drank so I kinda wasted my money. Lol.

They came and mahjong around. Taisoon messed with my com with riskII, owning the com then getting owned by marcus. Okay. Nothing much. Mahjong was tense cuz joseph was damn serious with the rules but at least i learnt something new.

PACKING MY ROOM

Was packing my room today and yesterday. 22st and 22nd I mean. Threw away two bags full of rubbish and found loads of interesting stuff I had in my cupboards all along but I didn't knew they were there.

Zzzzz. Okay I decided to post everything so that I do not have to drag anything after today.

Uh huh. So today had AGM in the morning. After that some of us went to play soccer at street. Yiding, Marcus, Taisoon, Lincoln, Chuankhim, DingChun. Actually I quite surprised to play rather well, despite the fact that I havent been playing for the past one or two months and having only 2 hours of sleeping that day. The dribbling part not bad eh. On form lah. My on form performance and off form performance is damn different one. Lol.

But anyways went KAP later. Saw a few sec 2s doing donno what CSSP project. Some np stuff apparently. But I have no idea what it is. Maybe I should ask elson about it. Or maybe they just scammed me about what they were actually doing. Anyway saw some ny npcc people o.o Haha. Guess they were having their 'AGM' that day too.

Later went to Bugis and Guanyin temple to pray after coming back from the china and aus trip. Went vivo later. Stoned. And shopped around eh. Went to Long John Silver and went home. And now I'm home typing this rubbish and the prev post.

I just kinda feel better finishing this.

Lala, and I'm freaking tired now cuz only 2 hours of sleep. Zzzzzz. Byebye.

AGM's Over, screwed or not

AGM is like finally over. Whether it was really that screwed or maybe not. 13 items on agenda, 3 hours of meeting, loads of language errors and some screwing ups.

Perhaps, to some, the meeting is just another sian section of random rubbish talking. To some, some meeting that you have to cope with all ur presentations on all the events that are so last-minuted prepared. For others, they don't even bloody care.

But it's like. I did put in a lot of effort into it. "A lot" is subjective and I shall define what is "a lot". That was linky-ish. Lol, you know I really tried. All the classical moments of me chasing every deadline possible for Elson and Kanzy. Trying my best to touch up on every other thing possible that I'm in control of. And me bothering in things that do not actually need my involvement. All the meeting minutes I spammed everyone that have proven to be irritating. All the emails I spammed to make sure everyone does their stuff. I believe many have experienced a touch of what I wrote in here. Hahah.

Sometimes, even though how much I try, the results never come out good or rather as good as I expected. I dont know why but I just cant put things right, you see. Darn the lousy dates with 'th' and without 'th'. Damn the noob tables formatting for documents. I think I spent a long time settling the seating arrangements before the meeting, though I was quite encouraged by the fact that everyone who was suppose to be at their place were there at 9am sharp. But still all the details that I will ALWAYS overlook, somehow. Preparing, whatsoever, stuff.

Maybe it was lucky that I never became the exco chair after all. Actually, when tancw asked how much I wanted the post the other time, i already said. The passion is there, but what comes out if it -- i dare not promise. Sometimes i wonder if i'm gd enough to be even one of the chairmen at all. The same case for if i'm gd enough to be a NCO.

Hah, i guess some will be thinking what for i be so bothered by all these stuff. I guess it's not just about np. I think it kinda runs in me as a person. No matter how hard I try, it just dont come out right. Sometimes I look at others and wonder how they manage to settle issues so well, so perfect, so clean. I try. But I simply cannot get to that standard. Guess that's the reason why I was never able to join the council after all.

Maybe it's the confidence, I dont know. I can still remember vividly about my p6 teacher (ms ang yahh for those who know) writing her comments in the end-of-yr report book saying I'm able to do well, but I simply just lack confidence.

But, really, I think there is just that something more for me to learn. Through the hard way, perhaps.

Lol yiding said something about not repeating the same content for our blogs on the same event. This is, I guess, very different. I may sound very low this post, but I'm actually not in such a bad mood. Take it as reflection lah.

UTP OUTINGG

Zzzz. The browser suddenly shutted down itself for no apparent reason and now I have to type all over again. And thank you Daphne Chen who just freaked me out with her freaky story on photos. Now i'm uploading photos and scaring myself with ur story -.-.-.-

Okayy. UTP outing was on SAT. Woke up at 10am++ and thought it was still very early since the gathering time was 2pm. So I decided to go online and stone in front of com. 11am++ still alot of time lah. 12pm++ still early what. 1pm++. =O Why suddenly 1pm alr. And I had to bathe and grab my brunch from BK and think about how to go Parkway Parade. Then my mum told me about this shuttle bus between sengkang and parkway which happens to come at hourly interval. So I waited till 2pm for the next bus, since it's free anyways xD And it took a long 20 minutes to get there finally.

Had some problems trying to find the parkway BK. But eventually met up with Marcus, Lincoln, Taisoon, Huanjun, Elywin, Grace, Alicia there. Stone for a few more moments and we decided to start walking to ECP first. But Taisoon realises we cannot go to a park without a soccer ball so we wandered off to look for a soccer ball. Saw a $5 cheapo ball which Taisoon didnt want to buy so we floated back to parkway's royal sporting house and bought a $26++ ball. Since he collect soccer balls anyway, so it doesn't really matter. We walked around parkway and went to Isetan and saw Dora dancing. But the way Dorothy dances was kinda weird. See this? *rolling your eyes yet?* Hahaha.

Later Jasper came and we went to ECP via the parkway underpass and found ourselves a place by the seaside. Some played cards, some played soccer after that. Huanjun went to emo on the beach. Eventually, everyone started going to the beach some time later. And were running around and attempting to throw jasper into the water.

Later we decided that it has been boring enough and we should continue our walk towards Mac. Went to 7-11 to buy slurpeeee, then some went Mac to get some food. Others went to the bowling alley only to discover some competition was held there and there were no lanes. The games were expensive anyways, $3.50 a game. Zzzz. Later we eventually met up with Geneve, Lihui and this quiet friend [/EDIT] called chengyi eh.

Cycling was next up. Went to this cycling shop which had very gd service indeed. Hah, the uncle settled the whole group in like a few minutes compared to the other time at downtownEAST where we took like donno how long and we had a few dollars don't know ending up where o.O Wheeee (Lihui) and (geneve)Yoyoyo had to stop halfway and return to the bike shop cuz Wheeee's bike were spoilt or something. How fated. =O Anyway we went cycling till we reached Bedok Jetty. Lol, I didn't know that place was called Bedok Jetty until today's enlightenment. =O But the scenery was good anyways.

Had some good time rubbishing there. With Taisoon displaying his knowledge on planes as we saw planes flying towards Changi Airport to land almost every few seconds. Something about three lights, two lights and lights at the wings. I don't remember anything much. Grace was being very (unusually) quiet. And nothing much lah.

When we were about to leave the place, we met Junwen and Dorothy on the way out. The Junwen who was suppose to be in Malaysia and the Dorothy who was not supposed to know how to cycle. Hahahh. Hoho, entertainment is here! Yes, as usual her eyes cannot stop rolling and rolling and rolling. So we went back to the jetty for a while. Continued all the dumb talking at the jetty. At that time, the sky was starting to turn dark already.

Oh yah, and geneve is damn frightened about my bike's wheel getting into hers. Ahaha, but at least she's smart enough to cycle off. When I did the same thing to Dorothy, she stopped -.- And the bike crashed into hers. Roll eyes. Ahahah. But seems like she is fine though, so nevermind xP

Later we returned the bike and went to the hawker centre to eat. Had fried hokkien mee for dinner. I found it quite nice eh. And koping of food here and there lah. Grace broke her personal best high score at her handphone game and she was exclaiming about it o.o Dorothy was feeling the heat from her spicy stingray that she just wanted to eat it though she could not take it. Taisoon's char kway teow was partially koped by me. Geneve had to leave already. Marcus went to watch Liverpool match at some live screening there. [/EDIT] Alicia was asking whether she should go serangoon for the 2141734024623rd time. And I bought my dear lime juice, to much of dorothy's delight -.- Ahaha.

By the time we walked back it was already 11. But I hanged around while some others went off. Marcus, Taisoon and Alicia had to drag about their decision of staying or not for so damn long that we eventually left at only 1130 or 40 to reach the parkway busstop near 12. The other 3 went off to the coffeeshop near Marcus's house and I took 43 home myself. The ride was much faster than I expected.

And this was the night Sengkang when I was walking home.

Oh yah when I reached home, Taisoon was telling me he returned to ECP cuz he had no other place to go. Alicia went home. Marcus went home. I was home. And Grace was at home telling me about some storybook she was reading about fighting rights for fingers. Hahah.

Oh well, that's about all about the outing. It was fun lah. Hah, i will be back for next year's UTP, after the same china trip that is going to eat up a month of my holidays again though.

I dont know why I'm on a low, very low, very very low today. And listening to the song on the blog makes me even lower. Don't know why eh. I have a feeling I'm being daoed by people wors. Maybe it's just me.

Oh yah, I had very weird dreams recently. I don't have the habits of dreaming, but these few days having them eh.

I had one of Dominic (Lew, yes HC one, yes scouts one, yes 3B one) telling me about using very chim words in HP. Some words I remember were like prevalent, okay I can only rmb one. And he was using some newly compiled imba Thesaurus. Then I wanted to buy then I woke up. Wth, hahah. I had one with me bargaining with some angmoh in Australia. The angmoh was trying to scam me into buying some stuff apparently. Something like making me pay $10 more than what the pricetag wrote. Then we were in the heat of argument when I woke up. -.-

Hahaha. Weird dreams eh. Nothing else la.

Why so rubbish?

Zzzz. I'm really lazy to blog lah. I don't feel like typing. I don't feel like expressing. But I just like to think and keep them to myself. Nvm. Gonna make this ~~short~~ (okay maybe it's not so short after all) and summarise what I have been doing for the past few days.

Tuesday I camped at home all day. Kinda post-utp-syndrome. Apparently there was some utp outhing that only a few went la. More like couples outing. Zzzz. Taisoon went, extra can. Hahaha. Went to collect my phone near evening and floated by.

Wednesday was summoned to school by Elson cuz of some Sec 1 orientation discussion which wasn't very fruitful. Basically, (almost) nothing was done and I just sent him the proposal I used for Open House and Elson just koped most of it. Hahah. Nvm that's not the point. Later we went to csc (civil servant club? I never gone there before until that day) to bowl and erm, play pool. OR rather I watch them play cuz I didnt feel like paying. Hahah.

Bowling was damn weird. My average score is like 50+ 60+ that type. That day 1st game I had 101. In front was damn imba, then screw up at the second part of the game. Maybe that score is, to some of you, lousy but I dont even bowl one eh. The last time I did was donno how many months ago. The 2nd game I almost strike three times. X X 9- wors. Hahah. Wth.

Then we went to play pool. Or rather they went to play pool and I went to watch. Apparently Jiahan and Lincoln were the pros. Felix was making the balls flying all over the pool table. Hahah. I tried a few times and hit 3 balls in consecutively =O Sounds like I'm showing off. Ahaha. But to some standard, this is like 'wth?!' easy. First time eh.

Thursday I dont remember a thing I did so nevermind.

Friday I dont remember anything either. Camp at home I think.

Saturday I went out for movie in the morning. Dejavu. It's a nice movie lah, the building up and plot and stuff. But it doesn't make sense and is so not logicial and so it's not that nice after all. (: Hahah. Usually those go-back-in-time movie's plot is such that some extra guy act smart try to save the world, in the end, is the person who caused the thing to happen after all. 'The more you try to prevent it, the more you caused it to happen.' Or something like that.

Later, went to Marina Park. Hahahah. It's an interesting place infested with insects and animals. Red ants and random flying birds. Oh yah, infested with scandalous couples too. Hahah. After walking in some distance saw some Raffles and Swiss hotel Family Day thing, but just dao anyway. Walked further you see the water and the scenery. It's kinda nice, you are looking at the CBD from another angle la. Literally la. You could see the esplanade, shenton way, the bridge and the sea from there.

I witnessed the birth of the universe. =O

Belfast SLC gathering was next up anyways. Went to Bishan to meet them. Saw aubrey, melinda, karen. Benjamin and jiayun who were like pissing off aubrey, Hahha. Uhh. Don't generalise la, walao. Anyway I didnt even hear anythign la. It only happens that those 2 happen to know Desmond better right Suay lor. Lol. Krystal pop up later. And we ended up at Joyce's house for her birthday. BBQ uhh. And saw her random friends, pri sch choir and stuff. We pranked called abit, though it was really dumb cuz the people we pranked call simply knew who we were already. Duh. We played mahjong ahaha. Oh yah, and we taught people like aubrey, karen play. =O We taught other people how to gamble. Isn't that suppose to be bad? Like who cares anyway. We took photos, but not my camera. So I have no photos to keep or post. Zzzz. After all, that night was pretty fun though.

Oh yah before I forgot. The noob Daphne was back from Sabah. And it's damn scary. Hahah, they went with ny and since Singapore is so small some people I happen to know. But that's not the point. Nvm. Randoming.

Sunday Stone at home for most of the day until I went to National Library to see my sis perform at like evening hours. Saw this $1.5million diamond X'mas tree at Bugis Junction. Everyone was taking photo of this tree and I was wondering what so interesting about it. Then I saw the poster saying "$1.5 million" Hahah, wth. Go take a look if you pass by that area.

And there was some carnival to raise for the deaf thing at the National Library. I happened to watch this christmas carolling using sign language thing. It's quite interesting eh. They were teaching us how to sign "We wish you Merry X'mas and Happy New Year". I learnt, now I know. Then the audience were like clapping in sign language, which was raising both of ur hands and turning both ur wrists inwards and outwards, like saying you "Don't have!!" like that.

Though they were playing the X'mas songs, but it was Sign language Christmas carols after all. So it was quite silent. And since the clapping is in sign language too, it was still very silent. And it's kinda weird. And you just realise it's the kind of world the deaf lives in. Silence. Silence. However, you can see the kind of joy on the faces of people who really enjoyed the carolling in sign language. It's like you salute them for being so positive despite their disability, born with or not. It was heartwarming lah. I mean the joy of watching such a performance and such efforts made into such an event. I so wanted to write into Straits Times to praise the organisers' efforts.

NTUC Used Textbook Project 2006!

For the past few days or so I have been spending my time at DowntownEast for UTP eh. It has been donno how many days, but it sure has been quite a long time. Could still rmb the first day I went was like spending the whole afternoon playing cards cuz there were no books that day.

Then later went back again and again to see my fellow konghwa-ians here and there again. Geneve, jiahui, junwen. And realised that there were alot of sec3 HC people that we do not know after all. Haha, still thought they were from dunman at first.

Lots of things happened at utp la. Happy. Not happy. People do act differently. Like what happened during St Nicks exchange eh (: NVM about that.

But loads of funny and interesting stuff like-

Dawn (i didnt know she was dawn until like today, sorry kkj xD) making babies cry (ORHOR!)

Drift Drift Drift at Downtown East

Hoho. I'm obsessed with this 'I wonder if you know How they live in Tokyo If u.. (dont know what dont know what) then you have to go fast and furious DRIFT DRIFT DRIFT fast and furious DRIFT DRIFT DRIFT'. HighHighHigh.

Uhh. Let's see I have got lot of things to blog for unit chalet eh. SO this is how it went..

Day 1 went early for utp. Met at 830 and stuff but we still ended up kinda late at 9++. They were kinda destroying the fortress they built and flattening all the boxes and stuff. Helped here and there and packed some books. And played cards during slack time, like duhh. Then marcus and yiding came to put the chalet stuff at the utp area.

Then around 1+ I kept rushing Marcus to go MRT to get the NP people there. Uhh then he didnt want to leave and, when he had to, he tried to drag us there but to no avail wors =O But after that Lincoln had to get something for him. Jasper and I ran from downtownEast to PasirRisMRT and it was faster than Lincoln. Got my 2 apple pies for lunch and returned to downtown east with all the NP people. Kept returning to utp though. Basically spent the afternoon at utp while the other NP people spend their time roaming downtown east or camping in the room with the ps2 and xbox games.

Evening time. We had to go rent bike overnight and we had loads of problems here and there la. Uhh. When too many people have to do something together, it's kinda confusing. Had some problems with the money eh. I think Chuan Khim lost part of his $50 mysteriously. Then we went for dinner and were back to random ride before going to the supermarket at WhiteSands to realise that we do not have enough money for 80+ people BBQing. Somehow we came up with this brilliant idea of buying the next morning at market cuz it's so last minute eh. I was worried about it not being done and stuff,. and you know end up screwed. But anyway later Taisoon Jasper and I cycled all the way from DowntownEast to Simei =O Haha. Night cycling was fun la, though it wasnt that late. Cuz we had to navigate by following the MRT Track which had to disappear in the woods halfway. Thanks lor. And we realised PasirRis and Tampanis, Tampanis and Simei are all seperated by some Highway, where we pushed our bikes across the overhead bridges. Rammed into the railings here and there la, cuz I'm like so not used to riding bikes all of a sudden eh. Then after I sent Lydia home then cycled back la. Equally fun though. Yea.

Back at chalet, most were enjoying away at the ps2 winning eleven 9. Eventually fell asleep at 3am++ or something la. I found a place on the bed somehow by sleeping beside Xiao Ben eh. And had Dayan smelling my feet the whole night, as he claimed so. Then next morning woke up early to get BBQ food from market with jasper, sidney, marcus, yiding. Luckily we got enough food. But the money still ran out la. Lkie duh. $150 is not enough for 80+ people la pls. It's super budget BBQ. Lol. I ate the cup noodles first to settle my breakfast fast. Then after tancw wanted to talk to Marcus about some BBQ issues, I dropped my phone and the LCD screen inside bloody hell cracked. MY 5300!! Sian. After that went to utp to show off my LCD screen. Anyway nothing much at utp la. More slacking than work. Went to eat this BarChorMee with some random utp people and found out Calvin Soon was enjoying himself in South Africa. Wth. Nvm, then 3pm had to play this damn amazing amazing race. Some groups ended in 10minutes, some 30minutes, some 1hr havent end. The sleeping HoWeiRong somehow solved all the nolink clues for the amazing race and found their way back to the chalet and slack before ending time. Not bad lah, cuz I wasn't giving them alot of clues after all.

Then when I went back for chalet, I somehow found the bed first before I got to the BBQ pit. I slept from 7pm and all the way, 7am. Most claimed that they tried to wake me up to eat the BBQ food. Other said that I spoke some random language that nobody could understand. That was like no-sleep-for-the-previous-day after effects. Anyway somehow the super budget BBQ had left overfood, somehow. But the next day I was damn energetic compared to the others who were most dying out. Checked out, Byebyes to Unit Chalet and still, UTP. Haha. Spend the day there and went home finally. SLEEP.
