Saturday, February 24 We had a glorious past
I'm wondering if we have really moved forward.

A CSM with:
8 flag poles.
a flag party. (with so many flags o.O)
hc & ny marching contingents.
and some random people contingent.
A SCH NDP with: No. 1 uniform. Sword drill. Mark4 rifles. (now that they are gone.) A flag party. (if u look carefully at the 1st pic's background)
A NPDP with: The President as Reviewing Officer. Ownage squad spirit. (if u go look at all their squads photo. the smiles the laughters.) Ownage unit spirit. (go look at the clocktower pic.)
And we had overseas camp for sec2s.

Thursday, February 22 Come on, I work for a cause
I mean most, if not all, people do things for a reason right?
For something that happens, there must be a reason behind it. For decisions you make, I believe there must be your reasoning behind them. For paths in life you wish to take, I believe there must be your own set of reasons.
Unless you're talking about paranormal stuff. Those stuff are out of our control, but that's already out of point.
And when you lose that cause, you don't find purpose in that thing you do anymore. You lose interest. You lose focus. You lose your enthusiasm. And it just ends there. Abruptly, but definitely.
Sometimes, such cause or purpose you find in doing stuff is compelled to the restrains brought about by reality. Oh yeah. Great philosophical, leadership, world power theories. And when it comes to reality, it becomes next to nothing.
Reality check. Having a purpose don't feed you. Money does, your job does, your position does.
Seriously, who gives a damn about keeping a beautiful portfolio until everyone around you starts to have one and you realise you will lose out if you do not have one. It is not really a choice of yours to choose to do or not. Meaningless it may be, but being constrained in such a reality, what can you do?
My chinese teacher once said, 'The only way to move beyond a (she was referring to the style of the O level chinese examination) system you think so lowly of is to BEAT it so effortlessly that it goes to show how incapable it is as a system.
Now, the question comes back. When is it going to be possible for us to beat the system? There is no answer.
(Nvm. It's just pointless lah.)
If I find a cause or purpose in work for NP, I just work with enthusiasm and all. It makes no sense for me to work FOR that title, FOR that name, FOR that moment of glory.
Of course, we like to be acknowledged for the things we have done. We feel good about it. But is that the only thing we want? Have we lost our purpose?
I don't know. Maybe you know (but I don't care, hahah.)
And I feel like I have lost my purpose in doing some stuff just not long ago and I found new ones. Restrained by reality indeed. I don't know how far I can go to reach my aims.
But I'm gonna try, because you never know until you try.

I was looking through the websites I made in the past 3 years (cuz i needed to make one more and is suffering from the lack of ideas) and this is what I discovered.

I think my average sleeping hours since school started is around 5 to 6 hours. I think this is the first time I slept for so damn long, 12 hours at one shot. 6pm (or even earlier) to 6am.
OH YAH, I DIDNT HAVE MY DINNER. No wonder I feel so hungry now.
So to all that talked to me on MSN, I was just having my beauty sleep.
OH yeah, so what happened this week.
12.13 Feb . were just normal school days. Boring as usual. I think the only interesting thing happened was that LiuQ spent 1 period talking abt our school's dismal O levels HCL results. Something about students in one of the clock tower classes. That no one in that class had an A1 or something. Which sounded ridiculous by previous standards.
Well, so thanks to the past yr batch of sec4s/lousy O levels HCL scripts markers/or whoever that have caused this bloody problem, we are now going to have some chinese lessons going on. Some damn o level, mugger styled kind of lesson. From 2 to 10 综合填空. From 1 to 5 理解问答. From 1 to 5 长文缩短. 2 剪报 weekly or something. OMG, that's like * 5 of our workload now. We're gonna have fun chinese lessons from now.
But I bet this drilling will make us 神 at o levels, which is in another way good for us. Well well.
OH yeah, there were loads of sparks during phy lesson. At least we were creating some.
OH yeah, we had our 4B class bonding session at street soccer court. Hahah. IT was damn fun can. 4B owns man. Other than not doing classroom duties. I think we own in all other areas. Hahah.
14 Feb .Valentine's Day. Oh yeah, I spent the afternoon at some NIE interview thing on IP students. OH well, so much about interviews and how I hated them. 2 and 1/2 hrs long. Then I went to SALT centre to look at the sec 1 and 2s training. They were having RT so I just bloody hell joined in. Hah, Sec 2s not bad eh. They are fast at closing down people, rather good ball control and know how to find open spaces. Not bad not bad.
So you think i'm going to tell you what happened next?

16 Feb .CNY's eve's eve. Dorothy's birthday's eve's eve. The day was kinda spent mostly by wasting time. CNY concert was at KahKeeHall. It's gonna be our last one but, as expected, it is still as boring as the previous years'. Other than Dominic's hyperactive liondance lion and Ziran disgusting antics, there weren't anything much.
And then we went street. Cuz jiawei had to wait for the NY people to go konghwa -.- Hah, street was fun. I think it was the best event of the day manzxz. Lol. The school soccer team people kinda improved ah. Can see them playing better than they did previously, lol. Hah, little tricks and finding the open space are sometimes all you need to get pass defenders and such. Bingxiang ah, dangerman. Lol. So yeah. My game ended after tripping over Fabian's feet and, erm, fell down. OH yeah. It was my ganengseng injury that I never recovered from since that match.
Later went back to kongHWA. And was only able to get in cuz the principal happened to walk to the gate, saw us stoning there and that we told him we werent allowed to go in -.- Yah yah, so we sent our Hwa Chong Institution High School Council Vice-President, Master Lim Jia Wei to talk to him, then we entered the school. The school kinda changed, hah. The school compound brought back fond memories, hah. Four years it had been.
Oh well, we all grow and we all change. But some things just get etched to our minds. They dont leave us. Primary school is now distant to me as never before, but this is all part and parcel of life. You put things down and you take up others. What is left are only the memories for you to cherish, for now the days are gone.
Wah chim ah. One more year to JC, we still love our primary school very much. At least I still feel attached to it.
And then we went off to eat at parkway with a really weird combination of yingxuan, elaine, simin, pernjie, me and taisoon. Don't ask me why taisoon is with us. I dont know either. Oh yeah, and jiawei and yingting disappeared to marina bay or something. But, later, we just went home. And I just did/
And I slept till I wake up just 1 hour ago at 6am.
Now it's 7. And the dark sky is diluting to a light blue one.
And it's the start of another new day (:

Okayy erm. I'm quite surprised nanyang got bronze =/ no malicious intentions on pointing out that but i dont think they deserve just a bronze. at least a silver right. uhh nvm. life's never fair. hope the ny people dont get too bothered by this.**
SI interview was wtfomg. Hahah. Our Area15 Commandant/ACS(B) DM is zai, can?
The kind of questions he asked was like asking for an analysis of the situation npcc is in currently. Parents getting over protective? Standards dropping? Image of Uniformed Groups? Image of NPCC? Students are changing? Society is changing?
For change is the only constant. For Newton's Third Law, action requires reaction. (Wth?!) We have to adapt. To rule with an iron fist, but with a glove of benevolence. (dont question the phrasing of that phrase, it's something like hah zzz) All the talk about squad spirit and teamwork.
