Hello. Today 's the last day of high school.
Emooo ): ): ): But I guess there are times that you can be emo.
Though no one mentioned about it explicitly, let me REMIND ALL OF YOU THAT today is the last day we are in high school of Hwa Chong.
No more fighting/judo sessions.
No more bonding sessions.
No more slamming the walls with soccer balls.
No more blasting songs in the classroom.
No more screaming of vulgarities behind walls.
No more whacking each other for no reason.
Omgggggg. CLICHE IT MAY SOUND, but the 4 years past freaking fast. It just all ended. Like this. (WITH 5 DAYS OF 高级华文 :D)
This is the last batch of Chinese High School.
And now we're gone.
I could just remember the first time I stepped into hwachong. Meeting some council person who brought my mum and i around the school for an impromtu school tour which got me so impressed about the school. Then the orientation. How I ran to grabbed that newspaper in the middle of kah kee hall for one of the orientation games. how we cheered out hearts out at the concourse and felt what it meant to be a 华中子弟 hwachongian. (thanks boey :D)
Sec 1 was much fun. Young and innocent and immature. (like how sec4s are always criticizing the juniors which they have once been) Having fun all the time. Haha can you believe the first classmate/schoolmate/person i ever met in hwachong was huihua? I could just remember how original his hair was.
1D was much fun. It was pretty much a 'chinese' class cuz 3/5 of our class are from China, somehow or rather. Aphelion nite, which was an ultra-cool performance. 蛋炒饭。Hahaha, omg it's freaking lame. But it was a class's effort and it was already the best performance put up among the sec 1 classes then. Haha could just remember the days.
Liuji, the first ever class chairman who went back to China later in that year. Could remember what he told me before he left for china. I guess i pretty much fulfilled his wishes. Hahha i dont think he will be reading this but anyways ya.
And we take a lot of random photos for some reason. I think it's because of weekian. who happens to be our dearest monitor. Hahah, wait! Actually, he became the monitor because i sabotaged him into it. Hahah omg! I could still remember your favourite food, curry fishhead. Hahhaha. Weekian, you should treat me to lunch one day. Just look at your blog web address. Lol.
Hah takling about CCA. I just happened to join NPCC with the two other KHS power, marcus and yiding in sec1. The first person i ever met in my NP life, was kenneth low. Our Sec 1 NCO and the then support services division chairman. Hah, but I think we are a batch of cool sec1 cadets. Talented and all. (: And there were plenty of activities too! like the newpaper big walk which took place every year until they decided to give the national stadium a refurnish. I think we all looked damn cute in uniforms, as compared to the more impressive look that we will give now.
And to think that Ang kaiye was once from npcc. Hahaha, and the sec1 swimming leap. and all the UIGs.
Sec 2 was even more fun.
It was once the best things in hwachong to be in the class of 2D. Though we might be academically weak, our class spirit was always on a freaking high. It was so much fun. We had damn lot of activities, like basketball and soccer tournament, chalet and a photo day (thanks to weekian again). Come on, 2d is the own. even till today I still miss the days we had in sec2.
Aphelion nite '05! Remember the 斧头帮 dance？Hahaha, i think this is when huihua made his first mark in his dancing career. Lol. I think the class practised damn hard for the dance, put in loads of effort. Made cardboards, vanguard sheets and everything.
Basketball tournament. I dont exactly remember who won. But it was damn fun anyways :D And we had interesting names and logos for our soccer teams. Hahaha
And 2d chalet! Hahah, like squeezing 30+ people into one small room. a once in a life time experience. And the card game spree - pokemon, yugioh and everything. Hahahah, spamming games of all sorts.
Not to forget 11slc. my first ever slc. (Hahaha, i still remember one of the foregin participant - a small boy from india who keeps running around non-stop)
And there was npcc. the npcc exco which i joined when i was sec2. webmaster eh, heh (: and we had activties like maf. which our dearest nco leetingwei failed to invite any of the 3 schs he wanted to invite. hahaha, what a scam.
Sec 3 - exciting days ahead.
Haha, it was a refreshing start to the year. Came to the class of 3b. With very unique individuals. It was probably the most rojak class ever - bsp, hp, smrp(sci), smrp(maths), smrp(infocomm) [hahah sherwyn!], AEP! [hahah chiakai!] n[o]s[pecial]p[rogramme]. China and united states and northkorea put into one classroom. What do you think? Heh. But i realised i aint got any 3b photos. That's quite sad i guess.

BUT STILL. Our first shot at fame was aphelion nite '06. Which we totally pwn with 霍元甲. Hahah, disregard the ziran offtune part and stuff. Hahaha, so much for the musical talents in our class. the instruments were like flute, drums, chinese drums, erhu, saxaphone, piano, violin, viola. Hahaha totally pwn. BUT no photos ):
Then there was SN exchange programme during that wk of aphelion nite. which was pretty much an irritating experience for me. because people change so much when there are girls around. heh, i shall stop here. (:
But I think we gave our form teacher, dearest Mr Yew Kai Loong, a horrible experience at teaching in hwachong. Poor him. Aiya.. dont talk about this.
AND then there was 12slc. which was rather sad. i think i didnt try to make an attempt to be a facilitator. i regretted pretty much. that's why i was quite attitude throughout the whole convention with my grpmates. sorrrry ): haha, that's not really the usual me. (i wonder if you will see this but ya) but they were pretty nice i guess. haha, and i still miss you guys and am waiting for joyce's birthday party. hahah :D BELFAST!
In the same year, i went for OB SABAH. Hahaha, from which i knew quite a few people from our sch. It was much fun, though we may have not made it to the top of the mt. kinabalu. Pretty much a learning experience, to suffer and endure the hardships outside and learn more about the world. Hahaha, could always remember alfred with his half-cooked rice, michael with his ahem antics, charles with "yo, come on", bingyeow the self-proclaimed muscleman, junhao with his random question of "am i a nerd?", hanwen, jasper, randy, juncheng! Omgg. So much fun :D
BSP CAMP '06! Which was pretty fun, but i missed like 1/4 of the camp because of syf training. So i think i missed quite a bit. Pretty fun though, meeting many pri sch classmates/schmates. Ben chong and all his prank calling at night and all the performances. The icebreakers were refreshing, but i could just remember myself complaining that why there wasn't the all-time classical whacko. But the finale was quite highhh anyway. Ahha. Taking over as the EXCO in NPCC. From webmaster to exco chair to ex-exco chair and support services chair, it has come a long way. Campcraft com '06 was a fun experience too. Grand celebration dinner. Sec 1 Orientation. Open house and DSA Open House.
And then there's the china bsp trip. Wenchang and Shanghai. With a bunch of funky people. Hahaha, seriously i think our batch bsp scholars are all people who are freaking lame. So it makes the china trips all damn fun. Hahaha, can anyone still remember that we have to wear the bsp camp shirt to airport? Roxxors can. Hahaha

Sec 4 was even moreee eventful. It just keeps getting better. Hahah
4b was better this time round with our dearest form teacher mrs seck. I dont know how many times have we performed 精武门 this year, but i'm sure gonna miss the song. Being in 4b was a pretty fun experience, especially towards the end where people started to change for the better.

Then came MP attachment. Mr Teo Ser Luck, the cool MP who can dance hip-hop in a traditional malay costume. Met a few of the jc seniors, whom i dont think i can ever see them again. Hahah, it was still a good experience being able to learn about how things function at grassroot and community level. We took one photo by their 'official photographer', which i do not know where to get from. Hahah, so i dont have any photos. Sad.
Next up OB Mongolia. Follow up to OB Sabah, though i think Sabah was a more memorable experience. Mongolia is a land of total randomness cuz you are able to experience 4 complete different elements of weather in 4 days. Sun, rain, gale and snow. Cool right. This time round there were many more NP mates and yeah. Oh and one of the most memorable part is not being able to bathe for 9 days because it was damnnn cold. Bathing on the 10th day was crazy cuz you can wash your hair for 30 minutes and still find dirt in it. Another thing was the 8 hours wait in transit at beijing international airport. Much much fun at starbucks and the bookstore opposite to it. Lols.
Aha, then it was eventful june. OT for bsp camp '07 and facilitator for 13slc. 5 days of madness. Hahaha, I was sleep-deprived almost everyday. But I guess it has been worth the effort (:
NPCC. reunion dinner. npdp '07. atf. unit camp. (haha, ck!) the annual police dinner at istana. passing out parade. NPCC has been a breeze and we passed out. What an experience.
Just when i thought that the sec4 life is about to slow down again... there comes model asean summit, which was quite an experience at organising things.
Then it was hillary challenge '07! As I have exclaimed so in a previous post about it, it is definitely the best outdoor challenge competition based in singapore.
And let me not forget that i was part of ortus night '07. Hahaha, once a 4k forever a 4k. Hahahaha

And there came the end of the high school life.
There are just so many many many people to thank.
I dont want to list. Cuz I know i will be missing people out here and there. There are just so many. I just want to thank all and everyone of you who appeared at any point of my high school life. Thank you for making my high school life so fulfilling. Thank you for making me who I am today. And that includes the teachers, of course.
