Sometimes these stuff make me kinda inspired about joining in as well 'cause I really find doing such things fun fun fun. Lol, I dont mind spending days and nights just to work on such stuff. That's really leading an exciting life la. To come up with the craziest of ideas and work ways out how to implement them. Hoho I guess it just runs in me hoho.
Council council.
Once in a while I still ponder if I did the right thing, mad for council. Even till now there are some friends who ask why I didnt join council. Haha of course, when people ask that question and say everything, I'm happy that there are people out there who think positively of me. But...

Haha, something that really struck me for some time. Hmm.. since I made the decision to stay in my cca, let's just see what comes next la. If I lose out on talent, guess I just have to work hard bah. Lalala.
To break out of that, let's just talk about who to vote and why you should vote. Or is there even a need to discuss something like that? I asked a few friends who they would vote. Most gave answers like people who I know. Did I think too much again?
Haha I thought for some time who to vote in from Athena. What should be the criteria?
Should you vote the person in because he or she...
Is your friend? Has worked really hard? Has been so sincere? Has the capability to come up with good stuff for you in the upcoming 2 years? Has the burning passion and love for the school? Gave you freebies or made a good campaign video? (though you can sometimes gauge their capabilities from their campaigns, it depends...)
Or even simply because he or she looks good? ._.
Then again, whoever ends up in the council wouldnt have deterimental effects on your schooling life, unlike perhaps national elections or referendums. So why care so much?

I just hope Athena gets capable and enthusiatic fac heads for our batch too. Someone who can cheer and scream loud, has the vision and capability to push through ideas and someone who is willing to put in effort and fight for the faculty (:

Sunday, March 23 Somehow somehow
I realise how boring my blog is unlike other blogs which inspire you about life and everything. My blog's forever (and ever and ever) lamenting about life and its injustice. Damn.
I should sound more inspiring. Ha.
Perhaps it's just my perceptions of things. Oh wells.
Random facts about my life.
1) I prefer listening to (low-quality) music from my phone though I could play music proper from the speakers via my computer. I really don't know why.
2) Math is the worst subject ever. Really.
Anyway here is something I like to say. I design stuff for fun. Fun. These includes websites, graphics, shirts and whatsoever. That's why I guess I dont really feel good when I'm given such tasks. And I dont find work fun, most of the time. Things that I come up with are therefore amatuer. I don't deny.
Another thing. I believe there's something wrong with my short-term memory. It's really horrible. I'm really bad at recalling things that have taken place about > 1 min ago. And once it doesnt get registered in my memory, it's just gone. Though I may recall them at random timings which doesn't help things. Ahh, that include dance steps.
I'm darn bad at expressing with words. Probably due to my poor linguistic abilities. Sometimes my confidence level shakes when situation arises or something crops up. And for that, I can't work in situations that requires you to be in the limelight, especially when you know you have like > 100 people staring at you.
Always believe that you suck. That's the only way you can improve.
Haha I cant believe there are so many people tagging on my blog right now. The internet does pull people nearer I guess. Go write an essay about how internet has affect relationships among people today.
I think sometimes the reason why I can't be really open to strangers is because of my sense of inferiority. Goes something like 'Uhh, why would the person bother talking to me.'

Breaking, yo. Haha I have been reading seniors' blogs about our batch of j1s. I'm just as proud to be in break now. Although our training is considered to be rather slack compared to erm like hiphop or modern, I think we are just wtfomgbbq enthuiastic about the whole thing. Official training days are tues and fri BUT we just practise everyday, anywhere. Pe studio, zen garden, rua, salt. We train, we have fun, we battle each other, we uprock one another, hahah. It's just fun fun fun. I think we just rock :D
Fuyo was doped. All our seniors were imba la, whoa but the event was just wtfomgbbq. Seen few of the best in Singapore, and they are all people of our age la. Haha, like what huihua said, if we could have put all the energy and time we wasted on computer games in secondary school days into break, we could have been quite imba now. Omgomg.
Dancing is a lifestyle now, an everyday event.
Besides that school has been pretty meaningless okay I guess. Tests are coming next week, but I dont feel that sense of urgency. Haha jc's slack for me la.

I'm glad to be part of it though I have been slacking quite a lot throughout the production. It made me think when I was watching the one last year. Pretty much why I decided to stick with it this year though there were many clashes with other stuff (i missed mad orientation for it, damn).

So much about running for student council. Our batch of j1s are really hyped up about everything, fac dances etc blahblah. I heard there are like many people out there running for council, uhh something like "there's a class in which half of the class population's running for council". Zzzomg. Hahaha, I guess that's something good for the school :D Everyone's so hyper!
But then again. Why do people want to run for student council?
Haha I guess I'm rather decided on my cca. Break :D I really really really dont want to quit dance. (: And maybe I would stay in huangcheng/chinese society but that also depends on whether they want me or not. Yeah. Haha, no jc council for me (:
I made that same choice 4 years ago and I kind of regretted, probably 'cause I kind of believed that I would have been someone better than who and where I am now. I could have been a different person now. Then again, I'm still aliving, kicking and doing rather well.
But... would I really be a better person if I had submitted that form in Sec 1? I'm quite sure my personality would have stayed this way - the way I blogged in Sec 1 sounds largely the same as the way I blog now (probably because my language didnt improve too :O) Still...

Nevertheless, I still want to get into fac comm.! :D (Ah-ah-athena! *clap clap clap clap*) I guess I have the craziest of ideas for the faculty that would sound the most ridiculous now. Then again, if you dont even dream big, how on earth are you gonna ever achieve something of that scale ! I guess implementing them may be hard, but I hope cool stuff like that can be pushed through.
In the process of competition, many have forgotten that it's the spirit that matters. If everyone keeps thinking that the faculty is ______ (whatever you believe), then of course the faculty will be ______ (whatever comes out of it).
So what if we didnt win in dramafeste/fac dance, so what? We all know life isn't fair.
We still owned as much. We still cheered as hard. We still fought like there's no tomorrow. And at the end of the day, what's going to touch people's hearts is the fighting spirit, the indescribable feeling which lies within. Winning probably consolidates the emotions, but that doesn't mean we cannot fight if we dont win.
I will probably sound like a retard if I'm gonna scream/do all these above alone. But I'm not alone ! There are so many out there who shares the same ideas. I think our batch of athenian seriously rocks (:
Fac dance. Cross country. Dramafeste. Combined Sports Meet. Festival-of-sports. We are in for an Athenian revolution!
AND many have forgotten that we're from one school. Faculty spirit overides school spirit. I dont advocate that myself but I see it happening and hear about it so often. But that's not really my problem, since I'm not interested in council anymore... :O
Still, that's something we need to rectify. And I will try to play my part.
