It's interesting how I opened itunes and realised that I haven't heard a song for leisure since idk when. Everything feels kinda nostalgic. Like you haven't heard them for a long time.

I guess it has been some time since I rested.

Big expectations. To summarise, I would just say that dance night was good but not good enough. I just hope our juniors can continue to up the standard of HC dancenight every year. I really want to see HC as an established dance society in Singapore in the future. And I think we can do it.

Blahblah.

A long time since I posted something as long as this, other than the dancenight post. Life has been... idk. HAHA, I guess I was just too bothered by every other stuff I haven't had time to stop and enjoy life. Enjoy the serenity, the peacefulness, the company of friends and everything. Maybe I would just stop a little while but there's really no time. Chionging for A levels all the way. Woohoo.

That sucks, actually. Why can't there be better things to do, HAHA.

This June's filled with mugging, partying and some random work. I think as you get older you just get more bogged down by work and then you forget how to pamper yourself.

Okay, there's stuff to do again.

It has been a long six months.

And we did it on 23 May 2009, 7.30pm.

After the show, I was feeling kinda lost. I don't know what to feel. Even till now. I didn't really feel a tinge of sadness or happiness.

Somehow I think that my inner self choose to believe I don't feel anything for dancenight. Telling myself that there's nothing so special about this performance. It's just another performance, another showcase that happened and ended. Sometimes, I wonder, 'what's the big deal?'

Then, all of a sudden, I felt something pressing against my heart. After I read the MAD blog. After I read some blogs of fellow MADders. After I read my tagboard. After I checked my facebook.

I was right. Dancenight '09 was indeed a mere performance.

But Dancenight '09 was also what brought people together, to bother, to feel, to care for each other.

To be concerned when your fellow division members get injured. To ask your friends and train together because both of you are afraid of forgetting the choreography. To stay back to stone around and help with the banner, even though nobody asked you to do so. To do retarded stuff and laugh together when things get really stressed up.

To care about an event called dancenight '09.

To be in this one big family of MAD dancers.
